Fine Dining at Prairie Lights
The Prairie Lights Restaurant is operated by Red River College students in the Hospitality and Tourism Management and Culinary Arts programs. The restaurant serves two purposes.
One: It provides hands-on, practical experience to the students of the Culinary Arts and Hospitality and Tourism Management programs as part of each program curriculum.
Two: It functions as a catering room for the Food Services Department for private functions such as weddings, receptions, anniversary dinners, etc. In both circumstances, the restaurant is open to the public.
The Hospitality and Tourism Management and Culinary Arts students operate two dining programs: lunch and evening. Both programs feature a full-service menu with soups, salads, entreés, desserts and beverages. The evening program features flambé service and is licensed for alcohol service, featuring a varied wine list, in addition to the usual mixed drinks, beers, and special coffees.
Hope to see you soon!
